pEF-BOS is a mammalian expression vector with human elongation factor
1 promoter. This vector
was developed in our laboratory in 1990
(Nucleic Acids Res. 18, 5322, 1990). Since the EF-1
promotor has a
strong promoter activity in various cells including nerve cels and hemopoietic
cells, the vector is widely used in the world. You can freely use the vector in your laboratory,
but please cite the above
mentioned-paper when you publish the results using the vector.
